Job Posting Title           Engineer, Principal - Software Development

 

Job Description            In this position you will work in a team to develop and debug wireless LAN chips and systems for very high volume mobile and embedded consumer electronics designs. The job spans pre-silicon architecture and HW/SW algorithm design/implementation/test to chip bringup and characterization. Working with DSP, silicon, and RF designers in company’s  market leading WLAN group, you will help realize chip designs for integration into an ever increasing array of mobile and embedded devices

 

Job Requirements         * M.S./B.S. Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics * Strong programming skills. Knowledge of C, Matlab, Tcl desirable. * Understanding of hardware design principles and some HDL (VHDL/Verilog) literacy. * DSP experience is desirable. * RF experience is desirable. * Must have excellent written and oral communication skills. * Must have excellent engineering problem solving skills. * Must be self motivated and comfortable working independently.
