Roles and responsibility for
Trend Micro, Anti Virus, Global MNC Leading IT Company, Bangalore:
Job Responsibilities
- Configuration of the Anti-Virus application
- Creation of required process and procedure documentation
- Provide support to Anti-Virus Management Administrators (GDC)
- Assist in troubleshooting errors with the Anti-Virus product
- Assist in the remediation of customer virus incidents
- Engage relevant service delivery teams as required
- Develop, implement and maintain processes and procedures as required for the Anti-Virus Management team.
- Review Anti-Virus thresholds and filters on a regular basis.
- Review Anti-Virus policies and configuration on a regular basis.
- Adhere to audit compliance strategies to ensure security and business processes are part of BAU activities
- Retention of artefacts using internal in house repositories
- Liaise with other technical areas and anti-virus vendors where necessary to ensure customer reported problems are resolved to customer satisfaction
- Identify and analyse known malware events, triage and escalate accordingly to the relevant groups
Requirements for

Excellent Knowledge in Trend Antivirus support Products - Knowledge of various Anti-Virus products and how they work on a commercial scale (SL 4)
- Ability to apply Anti-Virus solution on a commercial scale
- conceptual knowledge of various Anti-Virus products
- Applied understanding of security postures/policies
- Applied experience with TrendMicro
- Experience with Anti-Virus products including but not limited to McAfee, Symantec and Kaspersky
- Good Knowledge in Networking
- Willing to work in night shifts
