Windows Desktop Architect, Leading Semiconductor Indstry, Bangalore

The candidate needs to have 5 plus years experience architecting Windows XP or Vista/7 and desktop management infrastructure with 3 plus years experience with the following technologies: Microsoft Active Directory and group policy management, Microsoft SCCM.

v     The candidate must also have planning and implementation experience of a Windows XP or Vista/7 in a large scale organization of over 10,000 seats. Experience with Vb Scripting, Windows Scripting Host, and Power shell technologies highly desired.

Proven experience managing an environment with over 10,000 Windows endpoints.

• Strong Experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager, Microsoft System Center Operations Manager. Altiris CMS knowledge desired but not required.
• Experience with VbScripting, Windows Scripting Host, and Powershell technologies highly desired.
• Working understanding of Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policies.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis in a Desktop/LAN environment.
• In depth knowledge and strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis of Windows client operating systems. Windows 7 knowledge is a plus.
• Working understanding of SQL server and SQL database administration and maintenance desired.
• Proven project management experience, including developing project plans and schedules for moderate to-large-scale projects as well as managing internal and external customer relationships.
• Familiarity with the Life Cycle Management of a desktop environment.
• Excellent writing, presentation and documentation skills
